This generator is exclusively for applications based on the Ministry of the Interior household-registration data leak, so the reason is fixed and no selection is required. Current Ministry of the Interior guidance asks applicants to provide evidence of the leak or resulting harm; harm may include property, non-property, emotional, or privacy interests. A 2026 Taipei High Administrative Court judgment held that a leak can itself constitute privacy harm, while leaving the office to review the remaining statutory requirements. The household registration office still decides each application, and its on-site form is authoritative.
